Day 6: How Adam Got His Smile Back

Day 6: and I Found My Squeaky Cheese

Adam wants everyone to know that early this morning he was at the RV arcade; he placed 9th highest score with most tricks.
Here's the proof.

He says, "Read 'em and weep, boys. Read 'em and weep."

Then we went to Dells Dentist and saw them when they opened at 8:00. They were very nice and friendly.

After looking at the x-rays, the dentist decided the root was not exposed, and that he could do a filling to seal the tooth til we get home to Milledgeville and have a crown put on permanently. He cautioned a root canal may be in the works, but hopefully no damage has been done and it will be OK. Only time will tell.

Adam was very upset about the loss of half of his tooth, and was not pleased at having to see the dentist either.

We had to come back during the dentist's lunch hour.

Here he has his smile back.

So, we went to TOP SECRET to pass the time while waiting for the dentist.
You can see the White House has been turned upside down and plopped right smack in the middle of the Wisconsin Dells.
They don't know how it got there.

It's A Mystery....

Adam is checking out this car that got smashed by the White House.

On with the TRIP...
Meanwhile, Nana, Paw, and Natalie got the RV on the road toward Door County, WI and our next destination.
We came on later.

Our Route:
Trip: 200 miles today
Total Miles: 1,140

On the map, we took I-90/94 West to Portage, WI, where we picked up Hwy 33.

We saw lots of farms with silos.
Plus more windmills!

And cows.

At Fox Lake, WI, we took Hwy 68 to Waupun, WI and then Hwy 151/26 North to Osh Kosh, WI.
We drove on I-41 North to Green Bay, WI and then onto scenic Hwy 57 on to Baileys Harbor, WI.

Here they don't have deer crossing signs....

Just before they reached Sturgeon Bay, WI,
Nana spotted the sign for Renard's Cheese.
She bought me some and it's sooooooooo good!
Thanks Koko.

We arrived at Bailey's Grove RV Park about 5:30, very tired, but extremely pleased with our home for the next 2 nights.

 Natalie is enjoying herself.

We spotted this carving in between the campsites.

Adam and Paw help make us a great fire this evening, so we can roast marshmallows. It's a little cool too.

Nana relaxes while reading Door County Visitor Guides and wondering where I'll take them tomorrow.

Good night and thanks for all the prayers for Adam and his tooth.

P.S. Paw says the RV is skipping some. Maybe needs new spark plugs? He'll look into it more tomorrow.
