Day 15 Entering Canada at Wild Horse

Our Route:

We left Havre, MT heading north on hwy 232, which is also called Wild Horse Rd.  

After traveling about an hour, we reached the Canadian Border Crossing. 
Yes, they let all of us through. 

But I forgot to take a picture of the Welcome to Canada sign.

Here is the hwy 41 leading to the Trans Canadian hwy 1.

Distant mountains! Our destination in the next few days.

This was an area called Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park.

It's a mouthful.

But it was beautiful.

An abandoned barn in the middle of nowhere.

After turning onto the Trans Canadian Hwy 1, we drove several more hours to hwy 56 north to Drummheller.

Harvesting wheat. We saw lots and lots of wheat fields here.

This is our descent into Drummheller, AB, CA.

We drive on fairly level ground and this comes out of nowhere. 

Another long downhill.
